Directorial debut in Boston University’s largest auditorium, Tsai Performance Center. I chose Heathers as my directorial debut because I was drawn to the thematic dissonance between the show’s musical comedy structure and its serious content.

I challenged myself to stage the show with bright, cartoonish aesthetics while taking extra care to pause and address the sensitive subject matter, ensuring the cast’s comfort and understanding of the precise tone for which Heathers is known.
